Jackson County, MN Chooses RtVision for County-Wide Permits

Jackson County, MN, population of approximately 10,000, has begun implementation of RtVision’s OneGov permit solution, with a goal of going live with online permits in 2020. The OneGov application allows the County to setup custom application forms and workflow processes that reflect the regulatory needs and permit requirements of their County. Moving from paper to a web-based solution will provide greater abilities to quickly query and find permits, create real-time reports, and electronically route permits for review and approval.

With automated email notifications, online payments, and user dashboards, the public has a greater ability to conveniently submit and pay for permits online. Using their own user dashboards, permit applicants can track the status of a pending permit, relay important information to the County, such as inspection requests, and view historical permits from one easy-to-use dashboard.

OneGov currently manages more than 50 different types of reservations, permits, registrations, and licenses. Jackson County plans to start using OneGov for building, variance, sign, conditional use, and septic permits.
