Regional Sales Account Manager

Location: Ohio; home-based position

Travel: Up to 40% of time; travel around regional territory and occasional travel required to corporate office in Little Falls, MN

Job Description: As a Software Regional Sales Account Manager with RTVision, you will be on the front lines of selling software solutions that automate County, City and Citizen business processes; engaging Local Government, Engineering Consultants, Contractors and Suppliers. You will be joining a collaborative Business Development team where your feedback will be directly related to the advancement of the team, the sales process and the products. You must be a highly motivated, self-directed, driven sales professional with experience successfully building relationships with current and potential clients.

Responsibilities:

Prospect, find, develop and close opportunities through the entire Sales Cycle

Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers

Learn and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of the Company technology – and clearly customize and articulate capabilities and advantages to prospective customers

Create and implement account strategy

Generate interest and engage in educational and consultative conversations to identify need and value

Responsible for nurturing sales/lead pipeline with qualified opportunities

Maintain current revenue and focus on identifying new opportunities to increase market share and revenue growth

Coordinate and communicate with various internal resources in Pre-sales, Contracts and Post-Sales

Strong written and oral communication skills, including cold calls, proposal preparation presentation and selling skills

Provide input into campaigns, marketing, product and sales processes to achieve sales goals

Provide timely and accurate detail on all weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting and forecasting requirements

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of successful sales experience meeting revenue projections

Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills

Ability to effectively communicate with key decision-makers and IT individuals at all levels of the customers’ organization

Strong prospecting and cold-calling skills

Must have a highly educational, consultative and long-term sales approach to identifying, nurturing and qualifying potential customers

Proficient with CRM tools

Must be comfortable traveling up to 40% of time to regional and national conferences, customer sites and company headquarters

Preferred Qualifications:

BS/BA degree with 1 year of sales experience; or 4+ years of related experience

Experience selling software, and SaaS/Cloud products and services

Experience selling or working with the Local Government industry

Knowledge of solution and value-based selling techniques

High energy and positive attitude, with demonstrated ability to overcome objections
